Mint & mango iced tea

Mint & mango iced green tea - serves 4

Blending the distinctive flavour and grassy aroma of Change Yunnan Green Tea with the flavour of exotic mango, fresh mint and zesty lime creates a wonderfully refreshing drink which can be enjoyed throughout the summer.

Ingredients

1 mango peeled stoned and chopped
100g granulated sugar
4 tsp Change Yunnan green loose leaf tea
Small bunch fresh mint
1 lime sliced
Ice

Instructions

  1. Cook half the mango in a saucepan with the sugar and water for 8 to 10 minutes until it forms a syrup then strain the syrup into a jug or bowl and leave to cool.
  2. Pour 500ml of boiling water into a large heatproof jug and brew the green tea leaves for 5 minutes, then strain into a large glass jug and add 300ml of cold water. Leave it to cool completely and then put it in the fridge.
  3. Once cool, add the strained mango syrup to the chilled green tea along with the rest of the chopped mango, fresh mint and the lime slices.
  4. Fill up the jug with ice, stir gently and serve.

 Honey & lime iced tea

Iced sparkling honey & lime tea - serves 4 to 6

This fizzy iced tea is the perfect beverage for summertime. Each glass is naturally sweetened with honey and the lime enhances the crisp flavour of the jasmine infused tea leaves. Pure pleasure for the palate.

Ingredients

60ml lime juice
60ml lemon juice
4 tsp Change Jasmine Green loose leaf tea
60ml honey
18 fresh mint leaves
3 limes sliced
2 limes sliced

Instructions

  1. Add the fresh lime juice and lemon juice to a large pitcher jug.
  2. Bring 500ml of water to the boil in a saucepan, add Change Rooibos loose leaf tea and brew for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Carefully strain the liquid to remove the tea leaves
  4. Add the honey to the tea and stir until dissolved then add the mixture to the pitcher jug.
  5. Add 300ml of cold water to the jug and stir. Once cooled, leave in the fridge to chill.
  6. Serve with ice, lime slices, lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.

 apple & cinnamon iced tea

Iced apple & cinnamon fruit tea - serves 4

A comforting concoction which smells like your Nan’s hot apple pie, this iced tea is sweet cooling goodness to be enjoyed throughout the summer months.

Ingredients

4 tsp Change Apple & Cinnamon loose leaf tea
1 apple sliced
1 lemon sliced
Ice
Honey (optional)
Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to boil and brew the Change apple and cinnamon loose-leaf tea for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Carefully strain the liquid to remove the tea leaves
  3. If desired, add honey to the tea for a natural sweetener and stir until dissolved
  4. Add 300ml of cold water to the jug and stir. Once cooled, leave in the fridge to chill.
  5. Pour over ice and serve with sliced apple and lemon.

 cranberry and ginger iced tea

Cranberry & ginger fruit punch tea - serves 4

An uplifting infusion with sharp notes of tangy cranberry and tart lemon, this iced tea is a puckery, citrusy, pick-me-up beverage.

Ingredients

4 tsp Change ginger & lemon loose leaf tea
300 ml cranberry juice
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp orange juice
1 lemon sliced
1 orange sliced

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to boil and brew the Change lemon & ginger loose-leaf tea for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Carefully strain the liquid into a jug to remove the tea leaves
  3. Add the cranberry juice, orange juice and lemon juice to the jug and stir. Once cooled, leave in the fridge to chill.
  4. Pour over ice and serve with sliced lemon and orange.

 pineapple and thyme iced tea

Pineapple & thyme iced tea - serves 4

Sweet and slightly herbal, this fresh and revitalising iced tea will tickle your tastebuds.

Ingredients
4 tsp Change Gunpowder Green loose leaf tea
2 sprigs of fresh thyme
½ fresh pineapple

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to boil then remove from heat and add the tea leaves and fresh thyme. Let it brew for for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Carefully strain the liquid into a jug to remove the tea leaves.
  3. Add the cold water, remove the thyme and leave to cool.
  4. Once cool, stir in the pineapple and leave in the fridge to chill.
  5. Serve over ice with additional thyme if required.

 thai iced tea

Exotic Thai Iced Tea - serves 4

Enticing and aromatic, this spicy iced brew will transport you to the exotic shores of Thailand.

Ingredients

4 tsp Change Masala Chai loose leaf tea
Ice
300 ml milk (coconut milk, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk)
½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to boil then add the sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Add the tea leaves and gently boil for 3-5 minute and then remove from heat.
  3. Carefully strain the liquid into a jug to remove the tea leaves and leave it to cool
  4. Add to the fridge to chill
  5. Pour over ice and top with milk.

 strawberry and orange iced tea

Strawberry & orange chamomile iced tea - serves 4

A berry delicious iced drink to be enjoyed throughout the summer. The whole pollen heads in the tea capture the sweet and floral notes of chamomile.

Ingredients

4 tsp Change Chilled loose leaf tea
4 tsp honey
2 oranges sliced
16 strawberries halved
Ice

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to boil and add the chamomile tea leaves. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add the honey. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Carefully strain the liquid into a jug to remove the tea leaves and leave it to cool
  4. Add to the fridge to chill
  5. Pour over ice and serve with sliced oranges and strawberries.

Moroccan Mint Iced Tea - serves 5

A zesty and refreshing beverage that takes you away to a sandy beached oasis.

Ingredients

4 tsp Change Moroccan Mint iced tea
½ cup sugar
2 small bunches fresh mint
Ice (For a special touch, freeze some mint leaves in ice cubes)

Instructions

  1. Bring 500ml of water to the boil and add the Moroccan mint tea leaves. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Carefully strain the liquid into a jug and leave to cool.
  4. Add to the fridge to chill
  5. Pour over ice and serve with fresh mint.
