Our Brew Boffins have been stirring up some seriously spooky coffee concoctions in their big old cauldrons to help you win Halloween this year. From Goblin Snot Coffee to Hag's Hot Chocolate, you'll be all set to scare and impress your coffee shop customers. Boo!
Bloody Caramel Macchiato
A bloodcurdling recipe from our Brew Boffins so you can cook up a spooky storm this Halloween...
Ingredients
☕18-21 grams of Change Coffee espresso grounds
☕240 ml milk
☕2 tablespoons MONIN caramel syrup
☕Red food colouring
☕Mini mallows (toasted)
Instructions
💉To make the coffee, fill a mug with hot water to preheat it and then empty it.
💉Next you need to pour all of the milk into a small metal pitcher.
💉Add the MONIN caramel syrup to the milk and then set aside.
💉Use your espresso grounds in your coffee machine to create a double shot of espresso
💉Whilst the espresso is being made, steam the milk and caramel syrup in the pitcher using the steam wand on your coffee machine.
💉Add the red food colouring until it’s blood red! When it reaches a temperature of 140, stop steaming the milk.
💉Pour the steamed red milk into the preheated mug and top with toasted marshmallows.
💉Take your espresso shots and pour them directly over the milk foam. It should sink to the bottom.
💉Serve and enjoy!
Petrifying Phantom Irish Coffee!
A hair-raising delicious treat for you or your customers this Halloween! You could make it a hot chocolate for the little customers.
Ingredients
☕1 cup of freshly brewed Change Coffee
☕1 tablespoon brown sugar
☕3 tablespoons of Irish whiskey
☕Heavy cream, slightly whipped
☕Large white marshmallows
☕Wooden skewers
☕Decorating gel/food pen in black or red
Instructions
👻To make the phantom, slide a large marshmallow onto the wooden skewer.
👻Decorate the marshmallow with a scary face and then put to one side and make the coffee.
👻To make the coffee, fill a mug with hot water to preheat it and then empty it.
👻Pour your freshly brewed coffee into the warmed glass until it is ¾ full
👻Add the brown sugar and stir until it has completely dissolved
👻Blend in the Irish whiskey
👻Add the heavy cream
👻Pop your petrifying phantom skewer into the coffee and enjoy!

Goblin Snot Coffee!
A real trick-or-treat for your customers this Halloween! For children, swap out the coffee and whisky for a delicious Zuma hot chocolate.
Ingredients
☕1 cup of freshly brewed Change Coffee
☕1.5 tablespoons of Scotch whisky (optional)
☕1 tablespoon of Amaretto or Almond MONIN syrup
☕Whipped cream
☕Green food colouring
Instructions
👺To make your goblin snot topping, add whipped cream to a bowl and add green food colouring until you achieve your desired effect.
👺To make the coffee, fill a mug with hot water to preheat it and then empty it.
👺Pour your freshly brewed coffee into the warmed glass until it is ¾ full
👺Add the Scotch whiskey and MONIN syrup to the coffee
👺Spoon your green whipped cream onto the top.
👺Serve and enjoy!
Hazelnut Hag’s Hot Chocolate
A heart-stopping delight for the young and old.
Ingredients
☕1 cup of fresh hot chocolate
☕Milk
☕1 tablespoon of Hazelnut MONIN syrup
☕ Strawberry sauce
☕ Whipped cream
☕ Chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
🔮 Add your MONIN syrup to your freshly brewed Change Coffee
🔮 Stir and set aside
🔮 Steam required amount of milk in pitcher
🔮 Pour the steamed milk into the serving cup, stirring gently
🔮 Spoon your whipped cream on top, adding the chopped hazelnuts and drizzling over your blood (strawberry) sauce
🔮 Serve and enjoy!
Jack O Latte
The flavours of winter come together in this deliciously creamy latte.
Ingredients
☕1 cup of freshly brewed Change Coffee
☕Pumpkin Milk ( 1 cup milk, ¼ cup pumpkin puree, 1tsp cinnamon)
☕1 tablespoon of Vanilla MONIN syrup
☕ Whipped Cream
Instructions
🎃 Add your MONIN syrup to your freshly brewed Change Coffee
🎃 Stir and set aside
🎃 Create your pumpkin milk by combining the milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon and MONIN syrup
🎃Spoon your whipped cream on top and add a dusting of cinnamon
🎃 Serve and enjoy!
